Starting the Unit on Product Design

Project (due Feb 2nd): Each student will review an existing product (explain & give your opinion about it) or design a product and share it with classmates.
The product might be a piece of furniture, equipment, gear, an accessory, stationary, a tool, an appliance, or a toy. It should be something that is designed and manufactured.

The description should be about 5-6 sentences and should try to use the vocabulary.

If you design a product, you should draw an image of it (on paper or using a computer program) and upload it to your blog. Describe your product's purpose, design, and how it is used. For example ideas, see KickStarter or chindogu.

If you do a product review, describe your product's purpose and background information (name, maker, etc.). Give your opinion on the design and its usefulness. Add a photo of the product. Here is an example of a product review (click customer review).
