One of the topics many students want to study is sports. Even if you don't like sports, it is useful to study about the topic in English because we often use sports-related vocabulary in other contexts: games, contests, politics, health, engineering, etc. Also, Americans and Europeans love to talk about sports, so it is a good conversation topic.

Watching
Do you like to watch sports? Why or why not? What is your favorite sport to watch? What team(s) do you root for? Who is your favorite player? Why? How often do you watch sports in the stadium or on tv?
Playing
Do you like to play sports? Are you good at sports? What are your strong and weak points? Have you ever done any good performances? Do you practice? Do you work out?
